  • Puppy Placement & Selection Process

In keeping with our home page advisory statement regarding our placements (please visit our home page if you have not already), we maintain a firm commitment to only place our treasured Vom Orenburg German Shepherd offspring to select, pre-approved individuals deemed to offer safe, lifetime environments.  We ask all our prospective clients to please have a clear understanding of our puppy selection process.  If you have ANY questions or are unsure of the process, please ask for clarification PRIOR to reserving.  Be certain of your desire to move forward in placing a reservation, as you will be securing a position on a list where other potential clients may be declined due to your filling of a reserved place.
Reservations are non-refundable unless Vom Orenburg, at our discretion, determines a placement is not in the best interest of our puppy.

Reservation deposits for our Vom Orenburg German Shepherd puppies are accepted on a “first come, first reserve” placement policy.  In most instances we typically have a “firmly reserved” list before our babies arrive.  Therefore, time/date stamps when reservations are received by us are used to keep our reservation lists accurate and fair.  The balance of placement fees are due when the reserved baby is six (6) weeks of age.  Your reservation fee secures a place within our selection and reservation process as a prospective recipient of a Vom Orenburg puppy.

Ultimately,   ALL Vom Orenburg German Shepherd puppy placement choices are made by us.  While we do accept reservations based upon our client’s stated “preferences” for gender and coat types, we also graciously accept our client’s input regarding what their “ideal” puppy’s desired activity level, drive, or personality would be, and we do use that input as a guiding “tool”.  However, since we are with our “treasures” from their very first breath until they leave our premises in your arms, we feel we are best suited to know each individual puppy’s character, strengths, and subtle temperament differences, and can therefore make the best decision for the best fit, for both puppy and client into their lifetime homes.

Additionally, we as breeders of Vom Orenburg German Shepherds do reserve the right to hold back, at any time, at our discretion, either a female or male puppy of our choosing as our own “breeder’s first pick” with the intent to add that puppy to our future breeding program.  In rare instances, this decision to hold back a puppy could be decided when puppies are six (6) weeks of age or older.  In the event, because of our decision to “hold back” a puppy there is not a puppy available of the gender a client has reserved, that client will have the option of either a full refund or to carry their reservation over to a subsequent upcoming litter.

We strive to achieve the best possible fit for both our puppy and its parents by spending an extraordinary amount of time communicating with, meeting, and getting to know our prospective parents.  This careful vetting process assists us in learning family dynamics, understanding unique lifestyles, assessing home environments, and of course, knowing what future plans you hold for the puppy.  All the information you share with us should be accurate as this shared information weighs heavily into our decision making process.  All Vom Orenburg offspring are produced from health screened, show-rated, top European blood lines… which is why we deem all our puppies as potential “pick puppies”, all eligible for showing and competition… even if their planned  destiny is to be a “pet companion” in a loving, family home environment.

Our mission is to match the ideal puppy to the ideal living environment where both client and puppy will be successful, and enjoy a lifelong journey of love, loyalty, and companionship.  We hope you will cherish and love the babies “we cherished and loved first”.
